Gas and Heating Apprentice Scarlett Ball Named Award Finalist at the 2026 Greater Lincolnshire Apprenticeship and Skills Awards
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Scarlett Ball, current Level 3 Heating and Gas Apprentice, has been officially shortlisted for the Apprentice of the Year Award at the 2026 Greater Lincolnshire Apprenticeship and Skills Awards.
Scarlett, who is currently completing her apprenticeship with local business SJ Murphy, has consistently demonstrated the technical precision and professional drive that we strive to instill in all our students. This nomination is a wonderful recognition of her hard work and the significant progress she has made within a demanding and essential trade.
Seeing our students excel in the regional spotlight is a proud moment for the entire college community. Scarlett’s success serves as a powerful reminder of how apprenticeship pathways bridge the gap between education and industry, providing young professionals with the skills needed for their future careers.
As the final awards ceremony approaches this June, we want to congratulate Scarlett on this incredible milestone. Being named a finalist among such a competitive pool of talent across the county is an achievement in itself.
We look forward to cheering her on as she represents both the college and SJ Murphy at the upcoming celebration in Lincoln, and we remain committed to supporting her as she continues to build a bright career in the energy and heating sector.
