Former Sports Student Completes Coaching Degree Alongside Premier League Role
Now a Premier League Kicks Coordinator for the Peterborough United Foundation, Kyle Crideford has quickly climbed the coaching ladder following the achievement of his Sports Coaching and Development qualification at Stamford College. Kyle progressed to complete a Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development with the University of South Wales, and is enthusiastic about the next chapter of his career.
Undertaking his studies with the Inspire Education Group (IEG) provider between 2020 and 2022, Kyle combined his academic learning with practical experience, through voluntary work at Peterborough United Football Club. “The course gave me a good insight into how to adapt and plan sessions to meet students’ needs”, Kyle shared.
“I could apply my learning to the voluntary sessions at POSH, which later secured me a full-time contract doing coaching in schools”.
Observing a Stamford College Football Academy training session at Peterborough United’s renowned Weston Homes Stadium last month, Kyle offered his advice to current students: “Take the support from the lecturers and keep an open mind about your career path. Don’t settle for the first answer – keep looking at entry requirements and job descriptions and find a role that’s right for you”.
Inspire Education Group congratulates Kyle on his achievements and wishes him continued success in his career.
