Animal Care Student Secures Supported Internship
Recently completing the Level 3 (Extended) Diploma in Animal Management with DDM grades, Stamford College student, Elijah Punter, is making strides towards a promising career, having secured a supported internship with Pro Green.

Elijah recalled some of his most cherished memories from the course, sharing, “I really enjoyed the trip to the alpaca farm! We had the opportunity to feed them and learn about each individual’s traits. In terms of topics, I think the Genetics and Breeding module was probably my favourite”.
Benefitting from Stamford College’s Additional Learning Support (ALS) provision, available for learners assessed
with barriers to learning and/or Special Educational Needs (SEN), Elijah was empowered to set his aspirations high. “I had amazing support from the Learning Support Assistants, particularly Marta and Carl”, he shared. “They went above and beyond, and made me feel like nothing I asked was ever a bother. All the staff were so supportive, and it was obvious they wanted the best for me”.
Elijah’s educational journey at Stamford College has set the stage for a promising future. The wider Inspire Education Group (IEG) extends its best wishes, as he begins his exciting work placement.
